In the famous words of Daft Punk
Buy it, use it, break it, fix it,
Trash it, change it, mail – upgrade it,
Charge it, point it, zoom it, press it,
Snap it, work it, quick – erase it,
Write it, cut it, paste it, save it,
Load it, check it, quick – rewrite it,
Plug it, play it, burn it, rip it,
Drag and drop it, zip – unzip it,
Lock it, fill it, call it, find it,
View it, code it, jam – unlock it,
Surf it, scroll it, pause it, click it,
Cross it, crack it, switch – update it,
Name it, rate it, tune it, print it,
Scan it, send it, fax – rename it,
Touch it, bring it, Pay it, watch it,
Turn it, leave it, start – format it.
……Is how i basically feel about my own copyrighting licence….
unless you’re part of a massive corporation and you are inevitably trying to rob me of everything I own (may i add…extremely unlikely).
But if you are? then stop feasting your greedy eyes on my work.
Who knows i may be the next Voltaire or Plato? (also, extremely unlikely)
Morally, i have to question how i could still appreciate the mish-mashed beats of Girl Talk, if i refused my own work being re-published.
This work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 3.0 Unported License.
To summarise viewers have the ability:
- to Share — to copy, distribute and transmit the work
- to Remix — to adapt the work
Yet don’t have the ability to distribute my work for commercial use unless they hold a waiver . (Any of the above conditions can be waived if you get permission from the copyright holder, i.e me)
To more pressing issues… SPAM. and im not talking about the inediable food source.
I will rigourosuly be sifting through all my comments, looking for spam material or even posts i dont feel are worthy. Just like any victorious dictatorship, i will only be accepting comments that i feel are appropriate for my page.
Saying this, any deeply intellectual constructive feedback is warranted!
So conclusively, dont waste your time posting spam or comments with innapropriate content, as i will have to approve them before they are published.
On a more positive note check out the film: R.IP: a Remix Manifesto. For more information on Copyrighting Laws.
